S’mores Scores on New Sand Gnat’s Menu

While less traditional than peanuts and Cracker Jacks, the new menu offerings at Grayson Stadium are sure to satisfy.

The Savannah Sand Gnats, Class A South Atlantic League affiliates of the New York Mets, have announced two novel concession items:  The S’mores Panini and the fried chicken and waffle sandwich.

“The S’mores Panini had me at Fluff,” said (Sand Gnats Team President, John) Katz.

Fans will have to wait until the Friday, April 15, 2011 home opener against the Greenville Drive to sample the new snacks.
