Open Call For Gwinnett Braves Master Of Ceremonies

The Gwinnett Braves, Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, is holding an open call for the team’s Master of Ceremonies. Auditions will take place on Saturday, 17 January 2009 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM by the Nordstrom’s at the Mall of Georgia.
The MC will be responsible for entertaining fans, running in-game promotions and energizing the crowd during the team’s 72 home games. Judges will be looking for candidates that are enthusiastic, fun and that stand out in a crowd.
Fans interested in trying out should prepare a one-minute skit on why they should be the Gwinnett Braves Master of Ceremonies. Aspiring MC’s will then be asked to emcee potential in-game promotions and will be judged on how he/she sells the promotion and interacts with the crowd. A CD player will be provided at the auditions.
Note that participants must present a valid ID and be at least 18 years old.
