  • M-Braves To Marvel At Murphy On Monday

    The Mississippi Braves announce that Monday, June 15th will be Dale Murphy Night at Trustmark Park. The Atlanta Braves legend will be in town all day as he will be the keynote speaker at a luncheon Monday afternoon and then throw out the first pitch before the game that night. He will be available to sign autographs during the game as well.

    Murphy will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon at the Farm Bureau Grill on Monday. For $25, fans will get lunch and have the opportunity to meet the Braves’ legend. Tickets for children 14 are only $15. M-Braves Season Ticket Holders can get discounted tickets at the Trustmark Park ticket office. The Season Ticket Holder price will be $15 for adults and $10 for children 14 and under. Once Murphy’s speech is complete, those in attendance will get the opportunity to meet the former MVP, get his autograph and take pictures. The luncheon will begin at 12:00 PM and seating is limited.

    The 53-year-old two-time NL MVP and Portland, Oregon, native will then throw out the first pitch before the Braves take on Southern League rivals the Birmingham Barons in the fifth and final game of a five-game home stand at Trustmark Park at 7:05 PM. While the game is being played on the field, fans can go to the Extra Innings Team Store to get Murphy’s autograph.
