Dale Earnhardt, Jr. NASCAR Driver and Trivia Buff

During a red flag at the 52nd running of the Daytona 500 today for track repair, Dale  Earnhardt, Jr. and his crew engaged in a little baseball trivia.  It was hard for me, a baseball nut and a NASCAR neophyte, to tell who was who, but this is what they were talking about while the safety officials fixed a hole in the track.

Junior:  Do you know how many baseball umpires in baseball game?

A:  Four.

Junior:  Do you know who the all time hits career leader in baseball?

A:  Pete Rose, man.

Q:  Who’s the all-time leading base stealer?

Junior:  Rickey Henderson.

Just trying to entertain themselves during a lull in the action.
